Women In insurance is an Association affiliated with organizations throughout the Insurance Industry. The objective of the Association is to recognize, support and uplift women working in the Insurance Industry in Zimbabwe.  Another core mandate of. W.I.Z is to develop women leaders in the insurance sector, in order to drive equality in career advancement and leadership throughout the insurance industry.

This initiative came about after realizing the need to promote and increase diversity by the inclusion of women to leadership positions in the insurance sector.  With rapidly evolving technologies changing the nature of how business is done, and a high proportion of the insurance workforce aging and imminently retiring, the industry has found itself with a critical need for recruiting and nurturing top talent.
